I am suggesting the implementation of ‘Close’ to the ‘Middle Click’ section in ‘Inner Window, Titlebar and Frame Actions’ settings in Window Management.
I have searched far and wide for a way to close a window via modifier + middle click. Aside from advanced scripting and automation (beyond ydotool - I have tried this), I have no solution.
The ability to change middle clicks function on the desktop, the taskbar, and various system settings like pasting text leads me to believe KDE may have just overlooked this. I don’t buy it being a security issue, ESPECIALLY considering you have to be holding a modifier key to even execute it.
