Missing icons in Widget Manager

Hi guys,

I am using KDE Plasma 6.3.4 on Debian 13. When I call " Add or Manage Wiggets", I get a window with all applets but without icons. Is there any way to fix this behavior, maybe changing or deleting any user config file?

Thanks!

You can put the info from typing in konsole: kinfo ?

Also, you tried to make a new user in KDE to see if the problem is the user?

Regards

Hi @Krovikan,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I forgot to tell that I created a new user and all things worked fine. My intent is don’t lose everything in my configuration. My Debian is being successful migrated since version 9.

$ kinfo
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Kernel Version: 6.12.21-amd64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 16 × Intel® Core™ i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz
Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M

SOLVED. After checking the contents of each ~/.config/plasm* file, I renamed plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc to plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc.bak and a new file was created. I lost my wallpaper and toolbar configuration, but the Plasma 6 is working fine now. I easily reconfigured the wallpaper and the toolbar.
