The context menu tab in Dolphin’s configuration lets you toggle context menu items. For some reason, some context menu items are omitted from this settings panel meaning you cannot remove them. For example, cut, copy, paste, rename, etc.
This leads to the menu being quite bloated with unnecessary functions that are executed using keyboard shortcuts anyway.
Any thoughts on this?
So you think ‘Copy’ is bloat, yet you run a Desktop environment with a GUI file manager.

Are you saying that if you use a GUI program, you don’t use keyboard shortcuts?
Reducing clutter in context menus like this makes it much easier to find things.
certain core functions should not be removable to avoid accidentally rendering the system unusable for those that rely on the context menus.
if you don’t rely on the context menu for these actions then there is no need to look at it and see how cluttered it is.
Personally I do. My favourite shortcut is F4, because that brings up the terminal that lets me do stuff faster than I can reach for a mouse…
But sometimes I use the mouse, and a GUI needs core functions available when you’re holding and using the mouse.
There are many valid ways to do things, but the context cut/copy/paste options are definitely a core function, not optional extras.
