Missing menu animation

Hello. I am using Debian Testing Kde X11. My problem is that when I select the “Classic App Menu” widget, then I have an opening animation. If I select the “Application Board”, which expands to full screen, the animation is gone (

This is a known bug; see 454717 – Fade out when closing.

So it’s just not possible? I saw this animation on Manjaro.
