I wanted to fill in a bug report, but I’m not actually sure which app is at fault (KMail/Dolphin/my config?) and where else I could check this behaviour.
In previous Plasma versions, I had not problems with this behaviour:
So basically, if I receive an email with multiple attachments and right-click on the email to save them all, in the dialogue which prompts about place to save, there is no “New Folder” button.
If I right-click on attachments one by one, there is a “New Folder” button in the same dialogue. There is this button even if I’m saving an item from Firefox. I have seen this problem only with saving multiple attachments in KMail.
It happens on both my laptop and desktop.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Receive and email with multiple attachments;
- Right-click on this email and choose to save all attachments;
- A “New Folder” button in the dialogue is missing.
The button is really useful because right clicking and creating a new folder does not work well in folders where there are already many folders — it only creates subfolders on the clicked folder and it is difficult to scroll to a place with no folders each time.
Can someone affirm that there is a bug and maybe help with the bug-report?
