I don’t know whether this request has already been included in the requests for a future version.
But wouldn’t it be nice to be able to edit ‘contents’ directly from the GUI? With some pdf readers I used to be able to do this, why is it still not possible with Okular? This way you can create indexes of your books.

If you want to manage a library of PDF books then Calibre is the best.
But I assume you mean to edit individual PDF’s?
Yes, but I just got an answer about another PDF Viewer that does what I meant: masterpdfeditor
But I still think that having these option on okular cool be very nice
