Mouse Cursor disappears when shaken and then reappears after a few seconds

Under Accessibility/Shake Cursor, when enabled,
my mouse cursor disappears instead of enlarging.
After a few seconds it reappears again. No other issues.
This does NOT happen when I disable Shake cursor.

Operating System: KDE neon 6.0
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.0
Kernel Version: 6.5.0-41-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

This is currently being investigated. See 489241 – Shake cursor makes it disappear instead of growing.

This only started when I updated today. Yesterday it was working fine.
