Mouse cursor randomly grows to huge scale

I’ve been experiencing a very bizarre issue for at least a month: At certain times my mouse cursor suddenly explodes in size and becomes huge for no reason, after a second of moving it around it goes back to its normal size. This seems to happen at random, typically if you move it too quickly between different windows or panels. Is the issue known and a workaround available?

It’s an accessibility feature that’s enabled by default.

Go to System Settings → Accessibility → Shake Cursor. There you can toggle it off.
