The mouse pointer is very small in google chrome. It reverts back to the standard pointer. In firefox and other applications the pointer size and style is whatever I set it too in settings.
This issue occurs on both my laptop and desktop. So small on laptop I can barely see it. I have tried some chrome extensions that provide custom cursors without success.
This is also the case in the KDevelop software: the mouse pointer turns into a small black arrow. This is presumably the Chrome software encapsulates a set of pointer styles (at build time).
The above is just my guess…
It’s because Chrome doesn’t support the cursor-shape Wayland protocol yet.
