I would love for there to be a toggle to enable or disable mouse3 pasting the clipboard.
It causes issues with scrolling in my browser and messaging client(s) by inputting the clipboard contents, sometimes content I’d rather not accidentally share.

There is one (I made it).
In systemsettings > General Behavior > click > middle click
You will need to log-out to have it take effect IIRC.
I found it, disabled it and restarted but after reboot it still pastes.
Actually, upon closer inspection its behaviour is like this:
paste $clipboard; type “afafaf” and press ‘mouse3’ it will rewrite the string to $clipboard only.
Well it depends on the application you are testing with.
Firefox for instance re-implements by itself the feature, despite our compositor (KWin) make it explicitly not to do it.
You can tweak it in Firefox I believe.
There was a discussion regarding this:
Perfect, searching for ‘paste’ in ‘about:config’ solved the problem for me. Thanks.
Edit: Alongside the KDE fix.
