Multiple screenshots with Spectacle & other previous behavior

I used to take numerous screenshots and leave them open in the main Spectacle window. Spectacle changed.

Only one screenshot can be active at a time. When I take a second screenshot, the first one is deleted. How can I take multiple screenshots?

After taking a screenshot, previously Spectacle would open the clip in its main window. Now, I see a notification with an Annotate button. How do I have Spectacle open the clip in the main window after taking the screenshot? IOW, just assume I want the Annotate button option every time.

This isn’t possible anymore.
It might come back, please report the bug (if not already) or comment the existing bug to make it worthwhile the dev time.

As a workaround, you can save to files after a screenshot. In settings > General.
You might want to tweak the file name pattern for this.

Done! That’s unfortunate because the previous flow, which allowed multiple screenshots & opened to the main window after capture, was perfect.

I have a couple of issues filed.

These issues may have been fixed, but I wouldn’t know, as I’ve been using a script file to emulate previous behavior.
