Need help instaling yuzu

So for a bit of context, I swear I had already set up lutris, yuzu and dolphin on my pc last year. Come to find earlier today that they arn’t. I’m running kubuntu 24.04 abd KDE version 5.27.12.

I tried following the yuzu install guide: Building Yuzu For Linux

but I’m having issues. Running the big sudo command it seems one of the packages fails to install:

Package libasound2 is a virtual package provided by:
  liboss4-salsa-asound2 4.2-build2020-1ubuntu3.1
  libasound2t64 1.2.11-1ubuntu0.2 (= 1.2.11-1ubuntu0.2)
You should explicitly select one to install.

E: Package 'libasound2' has no installation candidate

Not really sure which package to chose, some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Also noticed when I tried to install lutris from the discover store and the .deb form the git-hub the installation just doesn’t seem to happen, both methods are just stuck in a load state, the ui says “loading”. The discover app just crashes whenever I open it now and no error logs are being generated through the error reporter.

This is very much Yuzu- and Ubuntu-specific and not related to KDE at all.

But the messaging is telling you what to do.
I would probably try libasound2t64 but I could be wrong.

But you’d want more specific Ubuntu and yuzu resources to make sure.
