Network manager: prioritize ethernet over wi-fi networks (➕ and ignore wifi, when ethernet on)

I can already set priorities to different networks, so e.g. ethernet the highest priority, while anything else is lower. However, I still see wifi connecting when ethernet is on and working (and faster than wifi).

How can I setup Network manager to ignore wifi, when ethernet is on?

Hi - I’m not aware of a way to do that in the System Settings interface - although I don’t have any Ethernet-connected devices myself - but it looks like there’s a script-based way to do it: Automatically enable and disable WiFi based on Ethernet connection with NetworkManager – Just another Linux geek
