Saving layout of GUI on 25.12.2 is just awful. Mine won't save when I configure it to look like my 25.08.3 layout. When I reopen it after a save, it throws all the panels randomly across my 2 screens. It does not save the layout. I have tried a “save” which should save it with the project. I have also tried saving it as it’s own named layout. Neither work. Same outcome. Also can’t get Object Detection to work. Speech function works fine, but Object Detection is having a problem with pip command. Also there is no way to delete the Object Detection plugin and start over. Am ok using 25.08.3, but really would like to see the new version work. I am running Linux Mint (latest) … and using Appimages of Kdenlive.
Are you using Wayland or Xwindows ?
