I would really like it if I could setup night color to toggle when I press alt+end or to increase/decrease the gamma with hotkeys. All programmable, of course.
Cinnamon has a way of doing this somewhat well, they have an applet for redshift that actually works, whereas most of the redshift stuff on other DEs simply doesnt work. It often doesn’t load ASAP at startup either, leading to blinding light when rebooting.
In general, just do everything you can to lift f.lux functionalities to KDE. Linux is sorely missing a fully functioning app like this.
I agree. At the moment sometimes it can be annoying when you have it set to turn on automatically depending on the time of the day, and you simply sometimes want it off during that “ON” period. Then you must go manually to settings, and turn it off.
