No audio from .ogg file

I imported a .ogg audio file that was exported from Android @Voice tts app. and I can see the waveform but there is no sound. Using an mp3 works with no problems… I’m going to try and convert it to mp3 but if there is an easier way I have 5 x 40min files to process.
Thank you

Not sure what that means. ‘@Voice tts app’

‘tts’ usually means ‘text to speech’ right? but you’re not very clear which application you used or how this is relevant… but surely not a KDE issue.

Yes, it’s a text to.speech app called:
@Voice Aloud Reader (tts)

I was able to use Audacity for conversion of the .egg file to mp3.

Kde is not able to play the .ogg file.

Hi! To help folks best guide you, could you please provide your basic system information from the Info Center app? The Copy Details button is the easiest way to get that ready to paste in:

Could you also specify which application you’re using to try to play that file?

A lot has changed since 22.12 …

If that still doesn’t work, you’ll need to provide some details about the actual file. Ogg is a streaming container format which can contain many types of data - so what is actually in the one you can’t play will matter.
