No Sound on KDE Neon Except Through USB Headphones

Hi,

I am very new to KDE (and Linux as a whole), so sorry if I am having trouble explaining my issue.

I just installed KDE Neon on an older model iMac a few weeks ago, and it was working without issues until I logged onto the computer today. I am suddenly unable to receive any sound from any audio output other than a set of USB headphones. I have not had issues with audio in the past on this computer, and I don’t really know where to begin trying to fix the issue. I noticed the problem when I connected my Bluetooth headset to the computer and was unable to hear the YouTube video I was listening to. I then attempted to disconnect and reconnect the Bluetooth headset, and the problem persisted. I then tried the built-in audio output card (Ellesmere HDMI Audio [Radeon RX 470/480 / 570/580/590] pro). This is the only other audio output option in settings. Still no sound. I then connected wired headphones and speakers over the aux port in the back of the iMac. That also did not offer any sound. I was only able to get sound when I connected my USB headphones to the iMac (this was done through the keyboard USB that is plugged in to the USB on the back, if that is important). The Bluetooth headset will also output audio in codec CVSD but not the default mSBC. The CVSD audio is of really poor quality, though, and not how it was connected before when the computer was working. I also left the computer idle for a few days between the last time I used it and now, if that makes a difference.

Please let me know if there is something else I should try to resolve this issue. I have tried to include all of the details I can think of, but I don’t know what is helpful.

Thank you for your time and assistance!
