I can’t for the love of God find a way to export my Digikam settings…
I checked and rechecked all the options in the settings pane: nothing.
Is it me?

I do not use Digikam myself, however most applications store their configuration files in ~/.config or ~/.local/share which can be copied manually in most cases.
Hello and, welcome to the KDE Discuss forums.
Here on this Linux machine – if you’re running digiKam on another platform, it’s different – the settings are located in the following directories:
> cd .config/
> find . -iname '*digi*'
./digikam.notifyrc
./digikam_systemrc
./digikamrc
>
> cd
> cd .local/share/
> find . -iname '*digi*'
./digikam
./kxmlgui5/digikam
./kxmlgui5/digikam/digikamui5.rc
>
> ls -alF digikam/

Hello, I’m running digikam on Windows 10. Sorry, should have specified that.
Then, the only help you’ll get is, that from the digiKam developers who ported the software to the Redmond platform.
Alternatively, you could consider moving to Linux as your daily computing platform – you’ll find that, life is so much easier …
