I feel stupid not being able to figure this out. What is the normal way to move clips between folders? Once a folder have more than ~10 clips in it the other folders end up out of sight, and unlike Explorer or the Timeline the Project Bin doesn’t scroll when hovering a ‘picked up’ clip with your mouse cursor near the bottom or top edge of the Project Bin. There is also no cut/paste function. The only way I figured out how to do this is to use the “Open Current Folder in New Bin” which is very clunky.
It does for me … I can drag a clip to a folder that needs the bin to scroll up or down before the drop location becomes visible. The autoscroll border is relatively thin, but it’s there.
I think you are right that there may be no way to do this without a mouse though.
What platform/version are you using. It may be some issue with the KDE widget/mouse handling on a particular platform, or how your DE is configured.
You are right, the autoscroll border was just thinner than I expected, but it is there. I was too quick trying it and just assume no auto-scroll existed since I didn’t trigger it. I use v25.04.0 on Windows 10 currently.
