Despite having changed the setting for where notifications should pop up, I can not get notifications to appear where they should be (above my systray) like they used to in plasma 5. I’m on archlinux.
Things I’ve tried:
Updating to latest everything. (in pacman default arch repos)
Changing “Popups” in notifications settings to the corner. and applying
Changing “Popups” in notifications settings to the corner back to “near notification icon” after changing it to somewhere else and applying
Resizing my entire desktop, then resizing it back to normal.
Crying.
None of the above seems to fix it 
I went to report this as a bug, but can’t figure out which system/subsystem to report it under.
This is in X11. Haven’t tested Wayland because wayland breaks some of my games so i don’t use it.
