NVIDIA Kernel module failed to load in fedora plasma kde 41

Hi.
I did not use linux since very long (I am switching from windows that disapoints me too much now and is too unsecure (I got hacks/thefts of PC and data)).
I just installed fedora kde plasma 41, with kde 6.2, and updated it, but saw some freezes, and needed to cold reset a couple of times, and I noticed this message at end of GUI boot :
NVIDIA Kernel module failed to load.
I did some update of nvidia drivers, but still same problem.
this is what I did with success but not solving the problem :
sudo dnf update
sudo dnf install akmod-nvidia
sudo dnf install nvidia-gpu-firmware
I created /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
with these lines :
blacklist nouveau
options nouveau modeset=0
then :
sudo reboot
still same problem.
I installed also nvidia server X parameters, but did not help.
NVIDIA-SMI fails because of no nvidia drivers.
my card and my PC :
card : Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 4060 Ti WINDFORCE OC 8G

it is on a PCIe 4.0 16x slot.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
64 GB RAM 3200 Mhz
X570S chipset
MB : Gigabyte X570S AORUS ELITE AX
system disk : samsung SSD 840 PRO 250 GB
dual boot with windows 11 pro 23h2 on a different SSD
what did I miss, what else to do ?
thanks.

Fedora forums would be more appropriate for your nvidia issues, it’s not KDE related.

Hi - the Fedora Discussion forum would be the right place, as this has to do with how the distribution (or adjacent packaging community) that’s downstream from KDE manages proprietary drivers.

Some specific links are below, with necessary instructions to follow for Fedora + NVIDIA and a specific Fedora Discussion post that I personally found helpful:

yes it fails because of secure boot and installation for drivers not correct

follow this first secure boot and then after signing install the drivers and you are all good
