This file here makes both okular and baloo6 stop in its tracks. It seems like a normal pdf and on Windows 11 can be opened and viewed without a problem
I can open those two pdf files just file. Your poppler is probably just old? In the future please report crashing bugs to bugs.kde.org not here.
