After clicking some external link (to another pdf file on a disk) Okular follows the link and opens new document in the current tab but there’s no way for easy
going back to the previously viewed document.
The only way I can find now is using File->Open Recent menu. But this is rather awkward.
I checked Acrobat Reader and you can use Alt+Left arrow shortcut to go back. Foxit Reader on the other hand, opens file from the link in a new tab and though it’s less convenient than Acrobat Reader’s approach it’s far more convenient than looking up the name of the desired document in “Open Recent” menu!
Can you add this functionality into Okular?
