Okular - Inconsistent rendering of line thickness

Hello, I have noticed that the rendering of line thickness is not consistent in Okular. For example, below is an image from a graph I embedded into a PDF ( from EPS via epslatex in gnuplot) visualised in Okular:

As can be seen, the line thicknesses of the x-axis tics, and the sides of the boxes is quite inconsistent at the current zoom level. If I open the same file in Evince, at the same zoom level it is rendered a lot more consistently:

Does anyone know what causes the inconsistency in line thickness, or any fixes?

Many thanks!

please contribute a file to this bug report so that the issue can be reproduced

if you need help, let me know.

Hi, I have attached the relevant slide! It comes from a print-to-file, but still shows the same inconsistent line thicknesses at some zoom levels (for example, it looks OK when viewed as '‘fit height’, but not great when viewed as “fit width” on my monitor (Display (CMN14D4): 1920x1080 @ 1.25x in 14", 60 Hz [Built-in]) )

Thank you!

thank YOU… been waiting for some kind of example file to show this inconsistent behavior.

i’ve marked the tag as REOPENED

it might be helpful if you included the version of okular you are using and under what OS, but i was able to reproduce it on my machine running plasma 5

and while firefox can render the document cleanly, okular struggled to get the line weight correct on random parts of the chart depending on the zoom level.

If it helps, I am using Okular version 26.04.1 in Arch Linux (kernal Linux 7.0.10-arch1-1, window manager Hyprland 0.55.2 (Wayland) )!

sorry, i meant can you include that info in the bug report in case it helps the developers.

My bad! I think I should have done it now
