Okular Middle Mouse Button Zoom

Hello, I am using KDE Okular on Windows 11. Currently, when I zoom using the mouse wheel, the application zooms into the center of the page or the last used point. Wouldn’t it be much better if it zoomed directly towards the cursor position instead? If there is already a way to enable this, could you please guide me on how to do it? Thank you!

Looks like a Windows issue - if I Ctrl_Scroll on the left, it zooms to the left… same on the right - zooms to the right.

Yes, Ctrl + Scroll works fine, but using the middle mouse button to zoom feels much smoother and more enjoyable to use. Because it allows for one-handed use

Actually, I misspoke—I was referring to zooming by holding down the middle mouse button and dragging.

Ah, yes - you’re right. Mousewheel zooming is by very large steps too, which is rather annoying.

I didn’t try middle-click and drag to zoom before, it’s super smooth, but impossible to target an area… that would be a good enhancement.
