Okular on Windows 8.1

Hello,

Is it possible to install Okular on Windows 8.1?
I installed the package via Chocolatey but when I open the Okular.exe file - an error message pops up saying that a .DLL is missing.

Has anyone come up with a solution for us still sitting on Windows 8.1? Would be much appreciated!

There is no solution, and I expect will be no solution. Windows support is extremely minimal, basically done on a “minimum effort” basis.

Why? Because none of us who write this software use Windows! :laughing: If you want better support, I would recommend upgrading from the extremely old, out of date, insecure Windows 8 to a much better, faster, newer Linux-based operating system. A few high-quality ones are shown on Distributions with Plasma and KDE Applications - KDE Community . :slight_smile:
