It was about a week ago and a mere three days ago as well, it’s finally happened. OpenFX is now part of the core mlt library. It will be part of the 7.38 release, whenever that comes out.
This is massive, a time to celebrate, with luck kdenlive 26.08 will be massive.
I’m one step closer to finally getting rid of Windows for good 
My dream is for a wrapper that lets you use Windows OFX plugins on Linux OFX hosts, like how Linux DAWs let you use Windows VSTs.
Wine itself handles OFX without issue, so maybe Wine could be integrated into a wrapper?
