Option to open file/ folder as admin in Dolphin is missing despite kio-admin being installed

Hi all, I’m currently trying PikaOS 4, which is based on Debian Sid, and despite kio-admin being installed, Dolphin is missing the option to open things as administrator.

Under the context menu options there is nothing to tick for Administrative Actions.

are you using plasma 6?

probably the same issue as this one on kubuntu

i originally filed with bugs.kde.org, but they closed it due it being a distro specific problem

you should probably file a bug report with the debian team and alert them.

Yeah I think you are right and this is a distro issue, since they are still in Beta.

I’ve reported it.
