Panel widgets break when moving if cursor leaves panel

panel widgets braking if curser moves off of the panel while dragging/moving. ends up floating on the panel but not responding normally in panel edit mode. is this a bug? this also exits the edit mode which is annoying

Hi! What you’re describing sounds like it might be widgets being dragged off of the panel, and onto the desktop itself.

To help be sure, could you share a screenshot of what it looks like when a widget has ended up in that floating state?

This sounds like 499654 – plasmashell crashes when dragging panel widgets to me.
