Passwordless wallet is not automatically opened when autologin is enabled

I am running Fedora 41 KDE edition in a VMWare vm on my Windows 11 desktop. I have KDE configured to automatically login as my regular user. As mentioned in the warning displayed when enabling that feature, I removed the password from the default “kdewallet” wallet. However, when the session starts, the wallet is not automatically opened.

How can I get the wallet to open automatically and still have autologin enabled?

BTW, I’m aware of the security implications of having a passwordless wallet, so I don’t need any comments in that regard.
