I have some pictures I’m trying to get to fill the entire screen of my TV. But it doesn’t really work out for me.
what do i need to do to make it succeed?
Can you clarify what you mean by “it doesn’t really work out for me”? How does it not work, and what app are you using the display the pictures?
A photograph or screenshot of the issue would be helpful.
as seen in picture, picture does not fill the whole frame. I don’t know which project settings I need to use to get the result I want

VLC media player
VLC has a full screen mode that should expand the image to the limits of your screen but if the aspect ratios are different, you will get the black bars on either side or above/below.
there is no stretch or fill option that i’m aware of in VLC.
for that you would need to use a different picture viewer like qwenview, gthumb or emacs.
if you want to make the background on your desktop, there are tile, stretch and fill options in that setting.
