Now, with 6.4, that finally GPU 1 (the Intel iGPU in my case) is available at the system monitor and widget wouldn’t it be nice if the sensor numbering would match the numbering on the about page?

compared to:
especially because the GPU Name is not shown by default, added that myself.
And yes the “GPU 2 usage %” sensor seems to be nvidia as it skyrockets as soon I prime-run a game (and prior to 6.4 I had only “GPU 2” and “All GPUs” showing the same percentage available).
_
But there seems still be an issue, in addition to the GPU 1 Name being not quite right.
While it works initially after a certain amount of time into the session the GPU 1 usage drops and stays at 0.0%
Not sure what triggers it or when exactly it happens, but i have already noticed that more than once.
Hi - just checking, does editing the page trigger it to start reporting again? If so, it sounds like you might be able to reproduce this bug report: 473606 – GPU Power is 0 unless I edit the page
No it does not. Tried on the System-monitor application and a widget with and and without saving/applying in between after removing the old entry.
A reboot fixed it and currently while writing this it is still working, probably only temporary. Maybe if I get very very lucky and catch exactly when it breaks I will report back (but I have obliviously not the time to constantly stare at the widget
) .
Edit: And already missed it. Watched a Anime episode on CR in Firefox that drove the iGPU usage constantly between 55 and 60% and had the history tab of the System-monitor application open to not have to spot it instantly.
Missed it anyway.
Probably happened somewhere in the second half of that anime episode. Should not have watched a season final episode for that
Noticed it when the end credits started rolling and had expected something around 55-60% at that point but it had died to 0.0% and is currently still at that.
On the other Hand as I only had Firefox and the system-monitor open at that time even if I had caught the exact second that probably would not have helped either(?!)
