Plasma 6.6: Dragging files onto apps in the taskbar no longer seem to work

Operating System: Fedora Linux 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.18.12-200.fc43.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 9 GB of RAM (7.6 GB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics

In previous versions of Plasma, I have been able to drag a file from Dolphin onto an app in the taskbar, and the app would open the file. For example:

Open Dolphin → Drag video file on mpv taskbar icon →mpv plays video

That no longer seems to work. I recall I used to be able to do the same thing with LibreOffice files and LibreOffice, but that doesn’t work, either. mpv works fine when dragging videos/folders onto the app when it is open, though. I tried dragging files into mpv using Nautilus, but like Dolphin, nothing happened.

Same happening for me.

It seems this bug has already been reported and resolved. I will wait for the update to be available on my package manager before closing as solved.
