Plasma 6 Docks on All Screens

I’ll confess, I love Latte Dock. I had an amazing setup with Plasma 5 but I’ve moved on to Plasma 6.

I’ve created an even better (for my use) layout with Plasma but there’s one feature missing that would just be the icing on the cake.

Latte Dock would let you create docks on a screen but then “mirror” them to all available screens. It was very near to the default behavior of macOS but in KDE 5.

Will later releases add this ability to Plasma? Does someone (like myself) need to organize sponsored work to see if Latte Dock could be ported to Plasma 6?

Great job and a heartfelt thank you to all the KDE Devs who are making this Mega-Release shine!

I think this would be a nice feature.
I couldn’t find an already posted feature request:

Feel free to open one.

Maybe if someone report the feature request as a start.

You can offer some sponsoring, but the thing is the original author of latte dock withdrew with good reasons (psifidotos: Latte Dock | Farewell...). And no-one else within the community has strong knowledge about latte because it was mainly a one-man project (Bus factor - Wikipedia). Unless someone decide to put some real effort in helping the situation that won’t happen, knowing our transition to Wayland is I believe would make things harder.

We have a section for this kind of subject:
