Plasma crashes on pi4 8gig for no reason and screen reader is automatically enabled

I use a raspberry pi 4B 8GB model and i installed KDE plasma through tasksel and using sddm as display manager. Every new session the screen reader starts and its difficult to turn off and plasma crashes once in a while randomly and i have to turn it off and on again. Is there any other way i can install plasma and get a smoother experience? and how to disable the screen reader at startup? the screen reader checkbox is unchecked, btw. Please help

Hi! To help folks best guide you, could you please provide your basic system information from the Info Center app? The Copy Details button is the easiest way to get that ready to paste in:

Hey! about that, i reinstalled it with sudo apt install kde-full and overclocked the gpu by 100MHz and it works now, but 1080p video playback is a teensy bit laggy

i am also having issues with bluetooth and some other things

It sounds like the crashing issues aren’t happening anymore? Glad that’s the case if so!

If there’s another issue - like Bluetooth - that you’re running into, I’d recommend creating a distinct Help topic for that, just so that the topic is easily visible to folks with knowledge about those areas who could help.
