I am still new to Linux so there may be a simple fix.
When booting up my system, once done it will idle at 1.8gb
(Cannot put screenshot as am new user and kde restricts 1 media upload to new user)
Once I open certain applications (Steam and Discord as demonstration and examples). And close these applications again with no process reported anywhere in system monitor. ram usage will climb to 2.0gb and cpu will be slightly more loaded.
Another example is when running Space Engineers, the application will be “Open gl”, however system monitor only shows that something is using ram and cpu, but is not displaying anything. It could 1 heavy application or game, or 50+ tiny things running in the background.
Is there a fix or a bug? I am still new to Linux and learning new stuff every day. Any help would be appreciated
