Plasma touchscreen experience needs some touch-ups.

This post is talking about events that occurred on a fresh install of Kubuntu 25.10

I’ve been using Plasma on a touchscreen only device for a bit now and here are some things I’ve noticed that need some work.

 1. The obvious one is that there is no On-Screen Keyboard, like at all. I’ve tried a few third

party ones but I wasn’t able to get any of them to work, but I know this is already being worked on in the form of Plasma Keyboard.

  1. There is no way to right click with the touch screen, you should be able to hold down on the touchscreen and have it register as a right click.

    3. The application launcher doesn’t scroll properly with touchscreen.
