Plasmashell crashes after Fedora 42 update

After the signin screen, my desktop loads, then I get a black screen with an error message window. This repeats tow more times, and I end up with the error screen looking for a backtrace and submission, which I have sent in.

Creating a new user gives me a normal sign in.

I’ve tried removing all desktop and task bar widgets, make no difference.

I’m running an Aurora distro, pinned version 41 works fine.

Not sure what to do about it.

Hardware is:
24x AMD Ryzen 9 9900x 21 core processor
64 GB Ram
Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX
Intel B580 GPU

I identified the culprit- it was a widget-Web Browser- in my task bar. Removing it solved the problem.
