Please enable the option to ignore users

From other discourse forums I’m used to the ability to ignore users, which is really nice to have if you’re spending too much time in any social space…

I’ve seen it mentioned here before, but it doesn’t seem to be enabled yet.

Could this please be enabled in the backend :folded_hands:

You can mute (and hide) a thread if resolves your problem in 2 steps.

Regards

Not really, that only hides notifications, the mute function for people already does that, but thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Ignore also hides replies in threads (and created topics) of people you have ignored, like that:

The problem with enabling ‘ignore’ is that it creates broken and incoherent threads, and everyone else will still see and quote posts that are obliterated…

I found by accident.

Click in the user avatar (1):

Click in the user avatar again (2):

Click here to ignore all the user content and notifications (3):

Regards

Aaah, so it might be tied to trust level (I’m still at “basic user”), because I don’t have that option:

Thanks, that clears things up, let’s see if the option appears when I reach another level

It’s even in the discourse docs :person_facepalming:

Though according to those docs I should be at level member already, not sure what those values are set to for the KDE forum…
