Praise for a (hopefully) upcoming feature

I just wanted to offer my praise and support to @akselmo for their patch to Konsole that will hopefully be included in 25.07. This is a feature I am really excited to have in my personal workflow because the solution I have is quite janky as it uses qdbus6 and sometimes sends commands to the wrong Konsole instance. (A modified shell script from KDE blogs).

I especially look forward to the custom sizing attributes.

Anyway I just wanted to offer my support for this feature and its develeoper (@akselmo)

Thanks! :slight_smile: I still want to make it a bit more user friendly and easier to approach, but for my own use it’s been pretty good for now.

Yes! That is where I discovered this! The funny part is that I was thinking of a feature exactly like that, and was absolutely ecstatic when I read about it. I even added the RSS feed in Akregator!
