For a few days now, my animated wallpaper hasn’t been working. I’d say it’s not even visible; it’s just a black background. There was no problem until I launched BeamNG Drive. The rendering engine settings icon (I think) appeared in my taskbar. It said that changing the settings might mess up the desktop, so I only saw the available options without accepting them. The next day, I couldn’t see the desktop again. I think I accidentally changed it, but I’m not sure because this icon no longer appears. The problem could also be the Linux kernel version or the DKMS and Nvidia drivers, even though I recently switched to AMD.
I should also note that this issue is not just limited to the animated wallpaper. Window thumbnails (window previews) on the taskbar and other system-wide video previews are also completely broken and not rendering.
