Given the newly official policy where Neon is now considered “beta” software, where users are considered “testers”, where Neon cannot be considered reliable, and with recent updates wreaking havoc with people’s systems, it becomes essential for those of us still sticking with this OS that is no longer user facing to install and maintain a working system restore function like Timeshift.
Given that yesterday’s update broke so much on my system, Timeshift saved my behind. This is the second time I have had to use it (the first was after a graphics driver install broke my system) and it works extremely well.
