I’m looking for a solution to get Pushover Notifications on my desktop through KDE notifications, but that is not as easy as I thought it would be. Has anyone found a reliable solution for this?

Out of the box, maybe using the phone app, with KDE Connect to send notifications to the desktop, might be easier.
There does seem to be a client API for paid subscribers to the desktop client, so someone could write something that consumes that API and generates desktop notifications from it.
