RAW files (CR2 and RAF) not being seen by Digikam

Could someone provide me with some steps to workout why digikam will not see my RAW (RAF and CR2) files.

  1. The album/folder is available in the albums tree but will only count/list jpgs within it.
  2. The RAW files are viewable in darktable.
  3. I am on Windows OS with the latest version of digikam (8.8.0)

RAW Loader: 8.8.0 (with extensions listed in the type-mimes)

libraw version: 0.22.0

digiKam: 8.8.0
KDE Frameworks: 6.17.0
Qt: Using 6.9.1 and built against 6.9.1
Windows 10 Version 22H2
Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-llp64
Kernel: winnt 10.0.19045

I have a similar problem.

I work on a MacBook. I can see .raf files from my Fuji X-Pro 1 and Fuji X-T30, but no Exifdata. I have .xmp sidecar files with all data I expect there, but digiKam wil not read the .xmp files.
