Recent items list on bottom panel for Libreoffice not same as for OnlyOffice?

Have LibreOffice and OnlyOffice icons set on bottom panel.

Right-click on icons show recent items on both, but clicking on LibreOffice ones does nothing while those on OnlyOffice open the document.

Is this a KDE Neon Plasma 6.3 Wayland thing or what else?

It works for me on KDE neon, using the stock Ubuntu packages, version 24.2.7.2.

Maybe that’s my problem.
Checked and have same ed. as you.

Just to make a liar out of me… clicked one on LO Writer and it opened (others did too).

But then tried with one on Calc and it wouldn’t respond.
Even after clearing list and starting over.

Un-installed “stock Ubuntu packages” - installed Flatpak version: same issue.

Probably somekind of hic here.

Calc does not respond to a .xlsx.xlsm (Excel file with macro) file on the list, but will open one ending in .xlsx

Bear in mind, Calc does work with .xlsx.xlsm file - always save as Excel file on account of the macro which Calc doesn’t seem to like.

Does it work if you try to open the file from the file manager?

If it does not the issue could be a missing or incorrect file association.

In which case you can check by right-clicking in the file manager and checking in “Properties” which application the system thinks it should use for that file type

Yes, it does - (never looked there before, so many options in KDE!).

Also, after choosing Calc as default (just now), the file opened via right-click on its icon on the panel.

Always something good to discover with KDE Plasma!
