Recommended icon themes?

As I mentioned in my last post here, I recently built some custom widgets for texting, email, and streaming music. While I’m very happy with how they work, they visually clash with my other “background apps” (I organize them alongside actual background apps since they behave similarly).

The default Breeze icons feel out of place next to the Discord and Steam icons. I’m looking for a more cohesive look—does anyone have any icon theme recommendations?

All suggestions are welcome, so don’t hesitate to share!

For me the papirus icon theme is the best way to have something cohesive.

It’s well supported and is also available as a package named papirus-icon-theme on most major distros

While I did switch back to Breeze Icons, and now waiting for the new iconset, Ocean Icons, I was using Papirus Icons (specially the dynamic color version). It’s probably the most used alternative out there.
