Reconfig wayland screen sharing with rustdesk

Any way to re-enable that screen sharing popup?

backgound

  • I want to use rustdesk under wayland (instead x11)
  • I somehow checked the allow restoring on future sessions, and my setting about screen shareing not working, but I have not find a way to reopen that popup and change the setting.

some possible solutions I’ve thinked

  • there seems some command line tools, which might can be used to flush screen sharing settings. might be plasmashell?
  • I may manually locate the setting in some config file, and modify (or delete) that file. here are some suspected locations:
    • ~/.local/share/xdg-desktop-portal-kde/ other settings
    • /.cache/xdg-desktop-portal-kde/ deleting it not work
  • if the setting entry is in a kind of database (akonadi?), some command line tools might be used to remove that entry. found nothing from akonadiconsole.

I find a line named wayland restore token in ~/.config/rustdesk/RustDesk_local.toml

  • Delete this line.
  • Restart rustdesk

and the screen sharing popup backs
