Thanks for this great addition!
It installs and works perfectly under Debian Testing with KDE Plasma 5.27.5.
(I’ve opted for outline width 0.5 as well as a bit narrower shadow, and all colors #6b6b6b instead of #00000)

This effect is awesome!
Perhaps it would be worth considering to include the effect in Plasma 6.
