Remember window properties 「across sessions」 in window rules.

Hi. As you can see in above:

In KDE settings I could make window rules for Firefox to remember which virtual desktop each window belong to. But it only works on current session, which is useless in fact — it just move window to where it was been but I don’t want it to be.

Is there any approach to remember properties (like virtual desktop) across sessions? So that while Firefox restoring windows they will go where they were be in last session? Then Firefox will never mess my first desktop up when I restore them.

Thanks. This is a feature request.

On X11 the applications usually do restore their windows to the correct virtual desktop but occasionally some windows can be out of place.

On Wayland the window session restore protocol has only recently become available in a “testing” version and is not widely used yet.

Once that has happened the windows should not only be on the right screen and virtual desktop but also on the correct activity.
