Is there any counterargument to removing the 20 character rule?
It’s pretty annoying, just makes conversations more difficult to follow. I’d ask for it to be removed.

Yes. I believe it is supposed to discourage low effort responses.
Personally I don’t have a preference. Keep it or change it seems both fine for me.

This paragraph exists only to break the 20-character rule.
(edit: and yes, this is a bit of a joke - in actuality the rule appears to exist to block exactly these kinds of comments 
but I can see how it would be annoying.)
